A new YouTube project, Urban Capital Talks, has launched: candid conversations about the real estate market from the inside

A new original YouTube project, Urban Capital Talks, has launched in Ukraine—a series of professional interviews and discussions about the modern real estate market, urban planning, investments, urban development, and the transformation of real estate development amid war and global changes.

The first episode was released today. New episodes are planned every 10 days.

Urban Capital Talks is a project about the real state of the market, free from official templates and “glossy” answers. Here, we’ll discuss what’s actually happening within the industry: shifts in demand, buyer and investor behavior, new urban trends, the development prospects for Kyiv and its metropolitan area, and the future of housing, development, and the urban environment.

The project will feature developers, architects, urban planners, brokers, marketers, economists, investors, and other real estate market participants who are shaping the industry today and see the processes from the inside.

A unique feature of Urban Capital Talks will be the filming locations themselves—the rooftops of the capital, panoramic viewing platforms, and the grounds of residential complexes and construction sites in Kyiv and its metropolitan area. It offers a unique perspective on the market from above and, at the same time, from within.

The first episode was filmed on the roof of Montreal House—one of the capital’s most famous residential complexes, currently under construction in the center of Kyiv. Slava Boyarkina was the guest on the debut episode.

The project’s creator and host is Iryna Mikhalova, a real estate marketing expert with many years of experience in development, branding, and communications.

“Today, the market is sorely lacking in honest, professional dialogue. Not in the language of press releases or conferences, but in the language of people who actually work in development, sell, build, invest, and see how cities and society are changing. That is exactly why Urban Capital Talks was created,” comments Irina Mikhalova.
