22.01.2025
Kyiv, Ukraine
After the temporary suspension of state registers due to a large-scale cyberattack, the "eRestoration" service has resumed its work, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development (Minrozvytku).
According to the official press release, citizens whose housing was damaged or destroyed can apply for compensation through the "Diya" portal or application, as well as at the Administrative Services Centers.
The Ministry of Development has extended the deadline for reserving funds for owners of housing certificates that have already been reserved for another 30 days - until February 20, 2025. This will allow for more relaxed transactions of buying and selling new housing to replace the lost one.
As previously reported, the state budget for 2025 provides UAH 4 billion for the implementation of the "eRestoration" program. Of this amount, UAH 3 billion is allocated for compensation for destroyed housing, and UAH 1 billion for damaged housing. In addition, the Ministry of Social Policy has allocated UAH 15 billion of unused funds for the purchase of housing for internally displaced persons within the framework of this program.
The eReconstruction program was launched in Ukraine on May 10, 2023. Within its framework, owners of damaged housing began to receive compensation of up to UAH 200,000 for repairs. These funds can be used to purchase building materials, pay for construction work and services of contractors who have the appropriate activity codes and are registered in the program through the Diia portal. Since December, payments for major repairs of damaged housing have begun - up to UAH 350,000 for apartments and up to UAH 500,000 for private houses.
Since August 1, 2023, the Diia application has begun accepting applications for compensation for housing destroyed due to hostilities. Payments are made to sole owners of residential property that was destroyed after February 24, 2022, is not subject to restoration, and is located in Ukrainian-controlled territory. Since December 27, 2023, the issuance of housing certificates through "Diya" began.
