Alliance Novobud and BROCKBUSINESS Insurance Company are the first ones on the market to insure property rights and ready-made apartments, taking into account war risks

On September 27, 2022, Alliance Novobud developer in partnership with BROCKBUSINESS insurance company presented a package of voluntary insurance products to the market: Property insurance, insurance of in-progress real estate investors property rights loss risks, and accident insurance. All three insurance products consider war risks, which is unique for the insurance and construction markets.

“The introduction of war risk insurance for real estate and investments is our response to the social and economic situation in the country. We understand the concerns of our customers and strive to provide them additional guarantees to preserve their assets, that’s why we sought help of the reliable and experienced insurance company BROCKBUSINESS. The partners promptly responded to the request and developed not one, but several war risk-adjusted insurance products,” Iryna Mikhaliova, Alliance Novobud Marketing Director said.

Under the terms of the updated Kvartyra-Express program, the property will be protected not only from standard risks (fire, natural disaster or water damage), but also from loss and damage due to war risks:

• Explosion or direct hit of ammunition containing explosive substances;
• Artillery, mortar, rocket ammunition, mines, bombs and warheads, guided and ballistic missiles, except for nuclear, biological and chemical weapons
• Fall of military aircraft and/or remotely piloted objects or their parts on the insured property, as well as spill of fuel contained in the tanks of this aircraft.

According to the program of voluntary insurance of in-progress real estate investors property rights loss risks, the future owner will be protected against losses incurred due to the loss of property rights to the real estate as a result of: Nationalisation, man-made accidents, military operations, circumstances beyond the control of the insured person, namely: Fires, explosions, accidents, natural disasters.

The Voluntary Accident Insurance Program protects against injury, temporary/permanent disability, death due to an accident and war risks: Injuries, brain injuries, mutilations, combat injuries or actions by the enemy in case of use of small arms, grenades and/or as a result of explosion of artillery shells, mortar mines, rocket ammunition, aerial bombs and warheads, guided and ballistic missiles, except for nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

All three insurance products can be applied for at Alliance Novobud sales departments when entering into the agreement. It takes up to 15 minutes for the products to be available. It is not necessary to inspect the property, describe or evaluate it.
